My new Inspirations series returns for a second episode, where I invite some of my favourite artists to share the music that has inspired them over the years and to share stories about their life and career. My guests this week are Faze Action, the disco-loving brothers who broke through in the mid-’90s with the cello-heavy classic ‘In The Trees’. Over the course of two decades, five albums and countless remixes of legendary artists and classic records, they have forged a solid reputation for highly musical dance tracks that are more that simple dancefloor fodder.

Faze Action – Moving Cities (Alternate Version) [Nuphonic]
Johnny Hammond – Fantasy [Milestone Records]
Earth, Wind & Fire – Runnin’ [Columbia]
Space – Carry On, Turn Me On [Vogue]
Shirley Nites – Heat You Up (Melt You Down) [West End Records]
Jose Padilla – Day One [International Feel]
Faze Action – Floating World (Chuggy Dub) [FAR]
